Curriculum
At Cobham Free School Sixth Form, students follow a rigorous academic pathway, choosing from 3 or 4 A Levels or BTECs, supported by an enriching extension programme that offers additional academic qualifications and intellectual challenge. Our curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to access top university courses and build successful, fulfilling careers.
Learning takes place in small, focused classes led by an exceptional team of specialist, highly qualified teachers. This personalised approach allows us to know each student as an individual—something that truly sets us apart from larger sixth form providers. As part of our all-through school community, sixth formers benefit from a strong sense of belonging, forming meaningful relationships in a warm and supportive environment.
Personal Development
Beyond academic achievement, we place a strong emphasis on enrichment. Through leadership opportunities, life skills and careers guidance, and a culture of aspiration, students grow into confident, thoughtful, and independent young adults.
We set the bar high. Our sixth form is a place where academic ambition is celebrated, where students are encouraged to aim for excellence, and where success is not only expected—but shared by all.
We encourage all students to use sustainable methods of transport wherever possible. Further information on the Travel page >.
We are pleased to be able to offer bronze, silver and gold levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) at Cobham Free School. This opportunity is open to all students in Year 9 - Year 13.
