Sixth Form Life
Vision, Values and Ethos
The sixth form embraces the values which have been embedded across the school, with a vision for a post-16 education that stretches and challenges its students and reflects the aims of the motto, ‘optimum omnibus’, the best for all.
In the sixth form, students study 3 or 4 A Levels as part of a traditional, academic curriculum, while enjoying a varied, engaging and enriching extra-curricular programme. Our approach enables the acquisition of the knowledge and skills to access top university courses and prepare for rewarding careers in the future. Students are encouraged to develop personal attributes in both leadership and collaboration, enhancing their ability to flourish as confident, considerate and independent young adults.
Students are taught in small class sizes by a strong team of specialist, highly qualified staff. We believe that this enables a focus on the individual which sets Cobham Free School apart from larger providers. Students in our sixth form are part of the Cobham Free School family, forging lifelong relationships in a very special, supportive and friendly environment.
We have the highest expectations and aspirations for our students. The sixth form is an environment where we encourage commitment to academic excellence and where everyone in the community has a belief in success and achievement for all.
