Core Maths is an excellent compliment to any A Level courses where there is a mathematical element, eg. Economics, Business or Psychology. You will learn maths skills that are applicable to real life and careers situations. It is worth half an A Level and very well regarded by universities.
The Extended Project Qualification is an independent research project on any topic of your choice. It is a fantastic way to take a deep academic dive into a subject that interests you and allows you to develop the academic writing, research and referencing skills essential for undergraduate study.
If you enjoy sports and want to develop your organisation, coaching and teamwork skills, then Sports Leader might be just the course for you. You will run events and work with others to motivate and increase pariticipation in a range of sports activities. The qualification is worth valuable UCAs points.
