School Travel Plan achieved Modeshift Stars Bronze Accreditation

We are delighted that we have now had our school travel plan accredited at Bronze Level by  Modeshift Stars, the Centre of Excellence for the delivery of Effective Travel Plans in Education, Business and Community settings. The scheme recognises schools, businesses and other organisations that have shown excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable and active travel. Thank you to everyone who makes an active journey to school.

To continue our commitment to reducing single use car journeys, we will be restarting our Living Streets WOW walk to school scheme after half term.  Pupils in the junior department will log their travel to school and receive badges for at least one active journey a week.  We are also looking forward to this year's bikeability courses for Year 6 and marking Road Safety Week, both in November.
