Cobham Free School junior pupils receive a letter from HM Queen Elizabeth II - Pupils in Year 2 at Cobham Free School were surprised to open a letter from HM Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday 13 September 2022. The letter was a thank you written on behalf of the Queen by her lady-in-waiting. This was following receipt of some colourful cards the pupils had created and hand-delivered to Windsor Castle on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee.

Cobham Free School students achieve success in GCSE - Cobham Free School (CFS) is pleased to announce an excellent set of GCSE results. Grades have been awarded using teacher assessment for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and these examinations were the first externally marked papers since 2019. We are therefore particularly delighted to report that testament to the hard work of students and their teachers, the GCSE results have been in line, or in some cases even stronger, than last year.

Cobham Free School students achieve success in their first ever externally-marked A levels - Year 13 students at Cobham Free School (CFS) have achieved a strong set of A level results today. The examinations were the school’s first set of A levels to be externally marked following teacher assessed grades in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Cobham Free School celebrates 10 Years Since Signing the Funding Agreement. - On Tuesday 14 June 2022 Cobham Free School (CFS) marked the 10th anniversary of the founding of the school with a day of celebrations. Further celebrations will take place over the next few weeks, with a post-16 ball for students in Year 11 and sixth form, and 10th Anniversary Ball for parents.

Cobham Free School students received an excellent set of A-level results, the first ever for the school, founded in 2012, and another fine set of GCSEs. - The results were awarded following a rigorous teacher assessed grading process and moderation, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cobham Free School celebrates the grand opening of its permanent site after years in temporary accommodation - On Friday 2 July 2021 the senior leadership and trustees of Cobham Free School were delighted to welcome The Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP as guest speaker at the, socially distanced, grand opening of the permanent site. Mr Raab delivered his speech to guests including school and community representatives, attendees from the Department for Education, building contractors, Willmott Dixon and members of the project delivery team. He received a tour of the new building and cut a magnificent cake baked by the school catering team, offering a toast to mark the special occasion.

Cobham Free School building project completed despite unprecedented times - Cobham Free School is delighted to announce that its Main School site on Portsmouth Road, Cobham, KT11 1TF (former Munro House) has been transformed over the lockdown period with the completion of its two new sports and performing arts wings. The handover, which took place on Wednesday 3 March 2021, marks the final stage in the project and the end of a 10 year journey to bring an all-through school to the Cobham community.

Cobham Free School Creates A Piece of Legacy at Pegasus’ Latest Community in Cobham - Year 3 students were invited to fill up the capsule with memorabilia marking events from 2020 which stood out to them. A variety of interesting keepsakes ranging from handwritten stories to a large rainbow drawing that can be puzzled together were collected and helped create the capsule of a year that will go down in history. The children also included personal letters for future children to read when the capsule is opened in years to come.

Cobham Free School welcomes students to permanent building a year ahead of schedule - CFS is delighted to announce that on Monday 14 September 2020 it opened the doors to its permanent site on Portsmouth Road, Cobham to welcome senior pupils for the first time. The Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP cut the ribbon at a special socially-distanced ceremony to mark the occasion, which was attended by guests from the CFS community and those involved with the building project.

CFS announces GCSE exam results in milestone year - CFS students were issued with their GCSE results on Thursday 20 August 2020 in an unprecedented year due to Covid-19. The grades were centre-assessed, with teachers awarding marks following a robust internal moderation process. CFS leaders feel confident the results reflect the true ability of the 71 students in the Year 11 cohort and demonstrate the hard work undertaken over the past 2 years.

CFS to Open at Munro House after Planning Application Approved by Elmbridge’s Planning Committee - On Tuesday 11 February 2020 planning permission was approved by Elmbridge Borough Council’s Planning Committee for the conversion of Munro House, Portsmouth Road, Cobham, into a new school building for Cobham Free School.

CFS announces exam results ahead of opening of new sixth form - CFS students celebrated the school’s first ever set of GCSE results on Thursday 22 August 2019. The cohort, comprising many of the founding senior pupils, achieved a successful set of results.

CFS and Cobham Rugby & Sports Association announce partnership - the CRSA is to build a state of the art Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) for shared use with Cobham Free School which is due to relocate to permanent premises at Munro House in Cobham, adjacent to the new pitch.
